Attendees will learn tips and tricks for managing personal finances, including setting SMART financial goals, creating a comprehensive budget, making the most of assets and mitigating risks. Master the art of negotiating salary and benefits, and learn the ins and outs of the 403b retirement plan. Public sector professionals will also learn if they qualify for the public student loan forgiveness program and other community assistance programs, such as the Earned Income Tax Credit.
Panelists include representatives from the Nebraska Financial Education Coalition (NFEC) and the Human Resources Association of the Midlands (HRAM).
